We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced computational chemist to join our team. Experience with ligand-based and protein-based drug design, scaffold morphing, conformational analysis, data handling and cheminformatics, HTS and biophysics data is desired. Knowledge of the various commercial modeling tools; concrete contributions as a member of successful multi-disciplinary teams; and an understanding of the key aspects of medicinal chemistry and drug discovery is also expected. This position includes the responsibility for the development and execution of the computational chemistry strategy across our drug discovery portfolio. The successful candidate will be flexible, independent, organized, detail oriented team player.
We are seeking an experienced, accomplished and resourceful scientist with a successful track record in in vivo and in vitro pharmacology to join our research group. The role involves working closely with the project team leaders to design, execute and evaluate PK-PD and efficacy studies for lead compounds. The ideal candidate will have significant small molecule drug discovery experience in rodent pharmacology as demonstrated by scientific publications/ patents/ high impact projects. The successful applicant will be independent, organized, detail oriented, flexible, and will enjoy working in a dynamic, fast paced team environment.
The Biomarker Researcher will be responsible for the implementation and interpretation of biomarkers in the clinical development of Constellation’s portfolio of novel compounds. The incumbent will guide the implementation and interpretation of biomarkers used to assess a compound’s pharmacodynamic effects in patients and of biomarkers used to guide the selection of patients most likely to benefit from treatment. S/He will be responsible for coordinating and managing biomarker work with external vendors and academic laboratories conducted on behalf of/in collaboration with Constellation. While this individual will be primarily responsible for biomarker implementation and interpretation in the clinic, s/he will work closely with Constellation’s research organization responsible for biomarker discovery and provide guidance regarding the utility and feasibility of candidate biomarkers in the clinic.
