Sr. Research Associate
– Cancer Pharmacology
The
successful candidate will join the pharmacology group to
focus on the development of assays to measure the
potency and efficacy of small molecule inhibitors in
vivo. Findings from cell biology experiments will be
validated in animal models and human tumor tissues in
order to discover pharmacodynamic and patient selection
markers in the field of cancer.
Position Requirements:
Individuals proficient in histology and experienced with
ex vivo techniques such as RNA extraction, western blot,
PCR, FACS from tissue samples are welcome to apply.
Competitive candidates will demonstrate aptitudes to
design and interpret experiments involving multiple
parameters. Candidates able to organize and communicate
results clearly will be favored. We will give particular
consideration to applicants with cancer biomarker
discovery and drug discovery experience. A Bachelors
Degree in Biology or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years
of laboratory experience is required.
